While attending Southern Garrett High School, in Oakland, MD, she participated in the culinary program where she ran the Baking Station, a student-led business. While attending WVU Potomac State College, she received the foundation to start her own business. Now, Samantha is the proud owner of Sam's Sweets in Westernport, MD.
